Posted by FaqeerMuhammad at 02:14 0 Comments
Emoticons are a great way of making discussions more interesting and fun, so it's a pity that Blogger don't support them. In this tutorial, I will show you some simple steps on how to add some very cool emoticons called Kolobok to your Blogger comments, so that you and your blog visitors will be able to have an enjoyable time together.

How To Add Kolobok Smileys to Blogger Comments

Step 1. Log in to your Blogger account and go to Template - Edit HTML
 Step 2. Click anywhere inside the code area and press the CTRL + F keys to open the search box.
 Step 3. Search (CTRL + F) for this tag:

</body>

Step 4. Copy and paste just above it, this code:

a) For previous commenting system with comments that have no reply function:
<!--kolobok-smileys-->
<script src='http://helplogger.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/[helplogger.blogspot.com]smileys.js' type='text/javascript'/>
<!--kolobok-smileys-->
b) For threaded commenting system with comments that have the reply function:
<script src='https://helplogger.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/kolobok threaded.js' type='text/javascript'/>
Note: ignore steps 5-8 if you are using threaded comments!

Step 5. Now find this code snippet:
<b:loop values='data:post.comments' var='comment'>
Step 6. Paste the following code just above it:
<div id='smileys'>
Step 7. Find the following code (look carefully, it should be somewhere below the code from step 5)
</b:loop>
Step 8. Paste the following tag just after it:
</div>
Step 9. Now find this code:
a) For previous commenting system:
<data:blogTeamBlogMessage/>
Note: if you'll find it like 4 times, stop to the 2nd one!

b) For threaded commenting system:
<div class='post-footer-line post-footer-line-3'>

Step 10. And add this code just after it:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == &quot;item&quot;'><script type='text/javascript'>
//<![CDATA[
function moreSmilies() {
    document.getElementById('smiley-more').style.display = 'inline';
    document.getElementById('smiley-toggle').innerHTML = '<a href="javascript:lessSmilies()"><div style="font-size:small; font-weight:bold;color:#000000;">Hide Emoticons</div></a>';
}
function lessSmilies() {
    document.getElementById('smiley-more').style.display = 'none';
    document.getElementById('smiley-toggle').innerHTML = '<a href="javascript:moreSmilies()"><div style="font-size:small; font-weight:bold;">Show Emoticons</div></a>';
}
//]]>
</script>
<div class='emoticons'>

How to Show Most Commented Posts in Blogger ?

Posted by FaqeerMuhammad at 07:06 0 Comments
One of the best gadgets for your Blogger blog is a popular posts widget for your sidebar. This lets visitors see what your trending posts are right now and encourages them to click on them to read them. This basic widget is just a little too basic, however, for the modern day website visitor. Not only do they want to see your trending posts, but they also want to join the discussions that are happening on your blog. To do that, you'll need a most commented posts widget for Blogger.

Having a customized widget on your site is a lot easier than you might think. In order to have an effective widget, however, you're going to need a few specific things to help you out.

Here's What You're Going To Get

There are certain aspects in the design of a most commented posts widget that you should expect. That's why you'll find these specific components with this custom widget:

  • Ordered by popularity. The posts that have the most comments are the most likely to have visitors want to read the post and join in with the conversation. By ordering your posts based on the popularity of them, you'll give each visitor the chance to see what the hype really is about! This lets you have a charted graphic that gives a visitor easy recognition, but also allows you to keep it straight and aligned if you're looking for a cleaner look.
  • Graphic incorporation. Blog posts that have at least one graphic incorporated with them will receive 100% more traffic than posts that have no images at all. For every graphic that you include with a blog post, the more likely you are to get a click! The same is true with your most commented posts widget, so be sure to incorporate graphics that stand out with your design.
  • Descriptions that blend in. The internet today revolves around the value that you can provide each individual user. People don't just click on things because they look visually tempting. They click on them because they promise a level of value that another website like yours isn't able to provide. By having descriptions that blend in, you'll be able to enhance the perceived value that your site can provide. This leads to more clicks!

Add the Most Commented Posts Widget to Blogger

Step 1. Log in to your Blogger account and go to Template, press the "Edit HTML" button.

Step 2. Click anywhere inside the code area and press the CTRL + F keys to open the Blogger' search box. Type the following tag inside it and hit Enter to find it:
</Group>
Step 3. Just below </Group>, add this code:
<Group description="Most Commented" selector=".most-commented">
<Variable name="most.commented.background1" description="background color1" type="color" default="#fa4242" value="#ee377a"/>
<Variable name="most.commented.background2" description="background color2" type="color" default="#ee6107" value="#fcad37"/>
<Variable name="most.commented.background3" description="background color3" type="color" default="#f0f" value="#f8e000"/>
<Variable name="most.commented.background4" description="background color4" type="color" default="#ff0" value="#c7e93d"/>
<Variable name="most.commented.background5" description="background color5" type="color" default="#0ff" value="#5ebded"/>
</Group>
Note: if you can't find the </Group> tag, try to find the following tag instead and add the variables just below it:

<b:skin><![CDATA[

Step 4. Now search for the following tag (CTRL + F):
]]></b:skin>
Step 5. And just above it, add this CSS code:
.comment-count {
    padding: 3px 10px;
    background: #fff;
    color: #000;
    font-size: 10px;
    float: right;
}

.most-commented ul {
    padding: 0px !important;
    font-family: Century Gothic, sans-serif;
}

.most-commented ul li {
    list-style-type: none;
    padding: 10px;
    color: #555;
    margin-top: -10px;
}

.most-commented ul li a {
    color: #444;
    font-weight: bold;
    text-decoration: none;
    font-size: 11px;
}

.most-commented ul li img {
    float: left;
    margin: 0px 5px 0px 0px;
    width: 60px;
    height: 60px;
}

.most-commented:nth-child(3n+0) {
    background: $(most.commented.background1);
    width: 100%;
}

.most-commented:nth-child(4n+0) {
    background: $(most.commented.background2);
    width: 95%;
}

.most-commented:nth-child(5n+0) {
    background: $(most.commented.background3);
    width: 90%;
}

.most-commented:nth-child(6n+0) {
    background: $(most.commented.background4);
    width: 85%;
}

.most-commented:nth-child(7n+0) {
    background: $(most.commented.background5);
    width: 80%;
}
Step 6. Save the template.

Now, let's add the Most Commented Posts widget to the Layout of our Blogger blog. Head over to the "Layout" section of your Blogger dashboard and click on the "Add a gadget" link on the right side. From the pop-up window, scroll down the list and select the "HTML/JavaScript" gadget:

 Copy and paste this script inside the content box:

<script type="text/javascript">
function stripTags(s,n) {
    return s.replace(/<.*?>/ig,"").split(/\s+/).slice(0,n-1).join(" ")
}
function mostcommented(feed) {
    var i;
    for (i = 0; i < feed.count ; i++) {
var postURL = "'" + feed.value.items[i].link + "'";
var postTitle = feed.value.items[i].title;
var postthumbnail = "<img src="+feed.value.items[i].postthumbnail+" />";
var postDescription = feed.value.items[i].postdescription;
var postComments = feed.value.items[i].commentcount;
var postList = '<div class="most-commented"><ul><li><div class="comment-count">' + postComments + "</div>" + postthumbnail + "<a href="+ postURL + '">' + postTitle + "</a>"  + '<p>' +stripTags(postDescription,10)+'...</p>' + '</li></ul></div>';
 document.write(postList);
     }
 }
 </script>
<script src="http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?
AddUrlHere=http://www.kingoftricks.tk
&NumberofPosts=5
&_id=2cb5eb603ed55a6264ee1484e5fdd45c
&_callback=mostcommented
&_render=json"
type="text/javascript"></script><span style="font-size: 80%; float:left;"><a href="http://helplogger.blogspot.com/2014/08/most-commented-posts-blogger-widget.html">Add this widget</a></span>
Here, change http://www.kingoftricks.tk with your blog URL. If you want to add more characters to the description, modify the "10" value in red from "postDescription,10".

If you want a more simple look (without the thumbnails and post snippets), add this script instead:
<script type="text/javascript">
function stripTags(s,n)
    {
    return s.replace(/<.*?>/ig,"").split(/\s+/).slice(0,n-1).join(" ")
}
function mostcommented(feed) {
 var i;
 for (i = 0; i < feed.count ; i++)
 {
var postURL = "'" + feed.value.items[i].link + "'";
var postTitle = feed.value.items[i].title;
var postComments = feed.value.items[i].commentcount;
var postList = '<div class="most-commented"><ul><li style="margin-bottom: 10px"><div class="comment-count">' + postComments + "</div>" + "<a href="+ postURL + '">' + postTitle + "</a>"  + '</li></ul></div>';
 document.write(postList);
 }
 }
 </script>
<script src="http://pipes.yahoo.com/pipes/pipe.run?
 AddUrlHere=http://www.kingoftricks.tk
&NumberofPosts=5
&_id=2cb5eb603ed55a6264ee1484e5fdd45c
&_callback=mostcommented
&_render=json"
type="text/javascript"></script>
<span style="font-size: 80%; float:left;"><a href="http://helplogger.blogspot.com/2014/08/most-commented-posts-blogger-widget.html">Add this widget</a></span>
.... and replace http://www.kingoftricks.tk with your address.
To add the "comments" text after the comments number, replace the line in red:
<div class="comment-count">' + postComments + "</div>"
with:
<div class="comment-count">' + postComments + " comments" + "</div>"
Once you have finished adding your own settings, press the "Save" button to enable the gadget in the sidebar of your blog. That's it!

3. Make Money By Shorting URLs

This the third method by which you can also earn money online. Here you've to join some sites which pays for shorting URLs. Popular sites for this are Adf.ly, Linkbucks, AdFoc.us and Adlock.in. After shortening URL you've to share it on your multiple social sites where some people may available to see and visit that shorten URL. So whenever someone clicks to that shorted URL, then a page appears with the bar at the top. The page will be having advertisements so whoever is landed on that link will need to see that Ads. In the top bar, the timing will be shown, something like this. "Please Wait... 5 Seconds" and the time will start reducing and when it finishes, "Skip Ad" button will appear. So a person will need to click that Skip Ad button and then he lands on the original URL. You will get paid for each visit through that shorten URLs.

And today, I'm going to discuss deeply that how can we make money online with Google Adsense. Google Adsense is especially for those who are running their own website or blog and wanna monetize it. There are also some methods to earn with Adsense without having any website and I'll surely share it in future. Earning with Adsense is easy but is also needed some hard work. If you're from Asian country then you might face problem in getting approved Adsense account because Adsense is too much strict to Asian countries due to violation of their policies. Well, You can get it in Asian countries but it needs hard work and I'll also share the approval tips. So now it's time to discuss about earning with Google Adsense.

Make Money Online With Google Adsense

Google Adsense is the most popular PPC [ Paid Per Click ] advertising network. It was introduced 10 years ago [2003] and recently Adsense had celebrated their 10 years of success. If you've any website then you can easily earn from it with Google Adsense. In order to get started with Adsense you will need to apply for Adsense. Wait for a week to get the reply and once if you got approval then you're free to use Adsense. After getting approval from Google Adsense, you've to create the ad unit in your Adsense account then you will get the Ad code which you've to implement in your website/blog. If your account is active then after a few minutes the Ads will start appearing on your website. Now that code will not show the single Ad everytime but it will show other Ads when you refresh or reload the page.
After the Ad setup you will be thinking then how you will earn from it. Then let me tell you, When the Ads are properly showing on your blog/website then when someone will come on your site and click on the Adsense ad then you will get paid for it. It means, you're giving visitors to them but they must click on their own choice. If you force others to click on it and even if you click on your own Ads then you will be caught and you can get banned. So, I recommend you don't violate their policies because Google is too smart and it is seeing you everytime what you're doing with their products.

What Are The Requirements For Google Adsense?

There are some little requirements for using Google Adsense according to their policies which I'm going to tell you in this para. The first thing is that you need an appropriate website or blog to monetize your content. It must have some content and it should not be in under construction while applying for Adsense because they need the active websites. Your website or blog also must have organic which is strongly important. The second thing is your age, You should be 18 years old with your own bank account or national ID card. If you're under 18 then you can also use your father's or any parent's identification. The third is the bank account or national ID card. These both things are for receiving the payment from Google Adsense. You can use your bank account to receive the payment. If you don't have any bank account then you can use your national ID card to receive payment from Western Union.

The Address Verification (Pin Code)

When you've got started with Adsense and your earning reaches at $10 USD Dollars then you will need to verify your address which you've given while applying. Simply, when earning reaches at $10 then you will get a notification that a letter has been sent to your address. While applying for Adsense, make sure you've given the proper and real address of your home. It should contain house no, street no, block no (optional), area name and city. Once if the letter is sent to your address then you will need to wait at least 2 months to get that letter. That letter will contain a Pin Code and some other guidelines to use Adsense safely. You've to enter that Pin Code in your Adsense account in order to verify the address. By the mistake, If you entered the wrong address then you can re-submit the Pin Code letter with the changed address but you can do this only three times otherwise your account will be blocked.

The Payment Process - When and How To Receive?

You may want to know about the payment process like when and how can we receive the payment. So here I'll explain it. Once if you've verified the address with pin code then you can receive the payment otherwise it will be on hold. The minimum payment threshold is $100 so when earning reaches at $100 then you can receive the payment. The payment is sent on every month if the earning has reached to minimum threshold. There are three payment methods, First one is bank transfer, Second one is Western Union and Third one is express check. You can use any method for the payment but I recommend going with Western Union because it is a quick and cash method there you will not face any problem. So, before your earning reaches the minimum threshold, you must set up your payment method.

Your Turn

So friends, this was Google Adsense which is the best advertising network for everyone. I strongly recommend you to try Adsense because it pays more than others. I hope this article will solve your issues according to earning with Adsense. Now it's your turn to apply for Adsense but I recommend to read their policies before applying and if your site is complying with their policies then surely apply for it. Posted by FaqeerMuhammad at 06:11 0 Comments

We all know that adsense is one of the best network to monetize blogs and sites but it doesn't work anymore for blogging niche blogs because there audience already know that these are adsense ads and they won't click ads. Another thing is that adsense has been strict from long to approve new applications and many bloggers don't have even adsense accounts for this reason.

Well, those who still think that adsense is just only way to monetize their blogs, I would like to tell them that adsense is not everything there are many other networks and strategies for monetization. Yes, adsense is owned by dominating company but some things can't work with everything.

So, today we've brought some methods and networks specially for those who're running blogs on blogging niche and also for those who hate adsense.

1. CPM (Cost Per Mile) Ad Networks

When paid per click is not working, try cost per mile ads. Simply, you'll be get paid for thousand impressions on ads. More the traffic, more money you make. While adsense also pays you for impressions but those who don't have adsense can go for CPM networks. Media.net, Madadsmedia, etc are the best networks that you can go for. Personally, we're using media.net and our experience is even better than adsense. So we'll say that media.net is a great alternative of adsense.

2. Affiliate Programs

Affiliate programs are best for blogging niche and they're many relevant programs that you can join and start promoting their products. You can find affiliate programs on web hosting sites, blog theme sites like themeforest, plugins, SEO products and many more. If you can't affiliate products for your blog that simply go to ClickBank which is most popular largest affiliate network, there you'll get tons of products to promote and earn commission. You can put product banner in your blog or even can write review about them to generate sales and enjoy the commission.

3. Banner Advertising (BuySellAds.com)

Another best method for monetization blogging niche blog is selling ad banners in your blog. BuySellAds.com is one of the best network for this kind of advertising. BuySellAds is a bit difficult to get approved account but if you got quality blog with huge traffic than chances are higher to get listed in BuySellAds directory. Once your blog is listed in BuySellAds directory than advertisers will be able to view your blog and any advertiser can purchase ad slot on your blog which will have fixed price and advertiser's banner will displayed for next 30 days. Give it a try and if you're approved than you won't be disappointed.

4. In-Text Advertising - (Infolinks.com)

In-Text advertising is also popular these days in which some words in your content will be converted into ad links. On hovering, it will display ad overview and if these links got clicks than you'll be easily paid. Infolinks.com is one of the top first ad network for this type of advertisement and is considered the top AdSense alternative. Even if you got AdSense, you can run both AdSense and Infolinks on your blog to generate extra income. If your most of the blog traffic is coming from top countries such as USA, Canada, UK than InfoLinks got highest payout rates for you.

5. Sponsored Reviews

When everything above doesn't work for you than this will surely work for you. Don't know either you've heard about it or not but once you know and try this method and you'll surely love it. Sponsored Reviews - Here we need to contact some relevant companies to blogging niche such as Hosting companies, SEO companies, Ad companies etc but these companies must be new and recently launched. Okay, so we need to get in touch with them and ask them an offer that we'll publish their product review on your blog which has decent readers to increase company's audience and users and you'll charge some amount in back. Before you contact any company, make sure you've good page rank and alexa and also use some email tactics to let company accept your offer.

6. Start Coaching & Service

Well, you can turn your readers into clients through this way but here you must be experienced pro blogger. You can start coaching where you can teach blogging SEO and other money making strategies to your readers and you'll charge them reasonable amount. Well, you can also start service in which you'll can provide different type of blogging services such as SEO service, creating backlinks, WordPress setup, content writing etc. This will need you to create pages where you can describe fully about your service & coaching along with price quotes. Also create a nice form for submissions.

7. E-book Selling

Got epic writing skills? This method is only for you! You can start writing e-books to make even more money. E-book writing can be difficult because here we need to both e-book topic expertise and also writing skills. You can write e-book on SEO, blogging, money making strategies and try to put them on Amazon Kindle where you can generate a lot of sales. How to Index your Website Faster in Google Search Easily

Posted by FaqeerMuhammad at 10:34 0 Comments
Today, having a website is not a challenging task anymore as it was considered before. In present online age people are more concern about getting their brand name or blog searchable on search engines to engage more valuable visitors. Many brand companies have already started to implement techniques that help their website to index faster in search engines. If you’re looking for some tips or techniques that could help your site to rank faster, then you are luckily at the right place. Today in this article, we will show you How to Easily Index your website faster in Google Search

Why Google Indexes new websites slowly?

We see a lot of users always complain about the fact that their new site takes a lot of time in indexing posts or articles. The main reasons of not getting your new site index are mentioned as below:

Less Authority: When you create a new site, it has almost ZERO authority while other old sites have better authority this is the reason why your site takes a while in indexing. The older your site would be, the more authority it would gain so it’s just a matter of getting your site a bit older.

Less Content: Google loves content, not just content, but fresh and quality content. New sites have less or no content, this makes almost impossible for search engines to get a blank page index (in some cases Google even indexes blank pages). However, write content that has quality and quantity at the same time.

Lack of Social Signals: Now days, search engines do count on social signals (the no of shares, tweets, likes the content is received from social networking websites) and on the basis of that they index or rank websites. For a new site, it is almost impossible to overnight get a lot of social followers.

Under the Scan: For those who don’t know, Google always takes a nice look at your site before it is indexed in the search engines so if there is any delay in indexation then your site is under the scan..

To find the number of pages indexed go to Google.com and search for site:kingoftricks.tk (Note: Do not forget to replace kingoftricks.tk with your website address). If you see no results, then you should implement the tips we have discussed in this article. Following screenshot shows the search results for the above query.

How to Easily Index your website faster in Google Search:

The techniques which we’ll be discussing in this article are applicable for both new and old websites. In short, we will be using some external websites to send search engine crawlers to our sites, forcing them to index our site faster than usual.

1. Submit sitemap to Google:

What is a sitemap? A sitemap is the list of posts or pages that you’ve published on your site which helps search engine crawlers to index your posts according to the its published dates. By submitting a sitemap to Google, Yahoo, Bing, AOL and etc. you’re inviting them to index your blog faster and efficiently.

If you haven't submit your sitemap to Google then do it today by going to the webmaster tool.

2. Commenting on Dofollow or CommentLuv Blogs:

After publishing a new article, comment on authority high traffic blogs. This not only provides some traffic, but at the same time search engine crawlers will follow your site if the attribution is set to Dofollow.

This is an old but working technique that every newbie blogger implements and if you haven’t then try it from today. You will start seeing the changes within a week or so depends on how much blogs you’re commenting on daily basis, I would prefer 20 to 30 comments a day.

3. Sharing on Social Communities:

This is another method which is very effective for new blog owners. Facebook or even Google+ has active groups and communities that allows you to share your posts URLS on them. When you’re sharing those URLs on those groups, you are actually sending a social signal to your site. This means the more you share, the more social signals it will send back to your site.

We have also implemented the same technique in the early days of MyBloggerLab.com and results were pretty much amazing.

4. Ping Your Posts or Blog:

Ping service is another working way to alarm search engines to index your newly published posts. However, Blogger as well as WordPress automatically sends pings to search engines, but doing it efficiently by doing it yourself won’t hurt much.

5. Guest Posting:

People say Guest posting is no longer effective, but the reality is they have the same significance at the moment as well. If you have time write 5 to 10 quality articles and ask high authority blogs to publish them and provide a Dofollow link to you.

Try to guest posts on blogs that are related to your nice, are updated regularly and consists of the active audience. By doing this, you will get some healthy traffic and again in your authority.
